Summary of the role: We are currently looking for a Supervisor, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) who will lead and manage all activities to ensure that the design, mapping and analyses of electric distribution assets using geospatial and other computer based systems are performed to meet the needs of all company requirements.
This position will also lead the effort to identify, develop and implement new technologies to design, map and perform analysis of the company's distribution assets. Overview of the role: Lead and manage the activities of the Geospatial Systems and Computer Aided

Utilize quantitative analyses and reports evaluate to work performance, work costs, asset utilization and budgets.
Provide the vision to continually anticipate and adjust to the changing business environment. Provide supervision and leadership for complex projects, utilizing GIS staff, other departmental or interdepartmental staff as needed. Coordinate, prioritize, and approve the work of project team members. Lead the development, implementation and oversee the maintenance of the Geospatial System and computer aided design system. Collaborate with Lockheed Martin in the development of new information systems and the upgrade, enhancement or expansion of information systems for the department.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Must have a minimum of seven years' experience of supervisory activities including hiring, scheduling, evaluating, training, counseling, and dismissal. Must have experience developing and controlling budgets and contracts. Must have five to seven years of direct knowledge and experience working with Auto CAD and Arc FM.
Arc FM experience must be related to electric utility industry, specifically with network and data modeling of distribution systems. Construction Department The Construction team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way.
