Team is looking to expand the support of production test activities (CSCI Test Team). This position is primarily for Software Test Engineering. The candidate must have the ability to analyze requirements and create safety critical test cases from those requirements to ensure the proper behavior of the air vehicle.
The candidate will perform software quality testing and will be responsible for producing engineering documentation about the test activity. This will include creating Software Quality Test Report Summaries and Software Problem Anomaly Reports for internal and external stake holders. The candidate shall have the ability to perform root cause analysis for failing test cases and
then effectively communicate the findings to the CPSW development team for resolution. The candidate must be process oriented and have a great eye for detail as the CPSW software must adhere to the Software Evidence Assurance Level 1 process (SEAL1).
This position will also provide the opportunity to develop and test software for non-SEAL1 software within CPSW. In this role, the candidate should be proficient developing C++ software and perform unit testing.
