This position is in the C4ISR market segment supporting United States Air Force and Navy programs specializing in software and systems engineering under the Weapons Platform Integration organization.
This position requires a candidate with strong problem-solving skills focused on software development and integration for the United States Air Force's Operational Real-Time Combat Analysis (ORCA) and JASSM SMART-Sync programs. The candidate will be working on an agile development team and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/development
effort. The candidate should be a well-rounded software developer with broad experience, but with a focused interest and demonstrable skills in web application design, development, and test.
The candidate will be involved in the coordination and task execution of a tiered web application development including GUI prototyping, external web service integration, development of new web services, design/development of logic layer, & SQL DB integration. The candidate will require strong technical writing skills and an understanding of system and software engineering principles. The candidate must be able to work within a team environment. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating
with other team members in performing analysis on bugs, determining root causes, then developing code based solutions to resolve them.
The candidate will also collaborate with other team members to build out new functionalities and capabilities within the ORCA & SMART-Sync applications.
