As the professional representative of S&ME on the project site, you play a pivotal role in providing valuable technical resources to our clients and you should feel comfortable
interacting with clients, construction personnel, and subcontractors. Your training and expertise will play a crucial role in influencing the project's success and allowing you to offer effective solutions to our clients.
You will be involved in: Coordinating field exploration and drilling operations. Collecting and logging soil samples from the field. Testing, analyzing, evaluating, and performing calculations to determine the strength characteristics of the soil. Preparing draft reports. While working under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer, together you will provide engineering solutions and recommendations to the client. Who You Are: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical
Engineering or related field; or ability to obtain within 6 months You have 0-2+ years of professional experience You have or are interested in obtaining your EIT (preferred) You have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Micro Station, with the ability to learn commercial software applications Working Conditions and Physical Demands: You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment such as: Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs, (field/laboratory samples and equipment) Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary Working outside of normal business hours when necessary Who We Are: We are S&ME.

the business effort to reduce scrap and provide cost effective service parts. Position Senior Electrical Engineer Location USA, Louisville, KY How You'll Create Possibilities Develop and maintain test systems that can be expanded across multiple product lines.
Develop schematics and PCB layouts to support test needs as appropriate. Develop and maintain test sequence and procedures for all refurbishment control boards. Create quality procedures and tollgates to maintain refurb control performance. Use and understand test data to improve test coverage and efficiency. Identify and root cause common failures on returned boards. Implement and maintain component modification procedures as necessary.
Collaborate with product lines on failure analysis and make design recommendations for future PCBA design.
What You'll Bring to Our Team Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering or quality experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Proven hardware design and troubleshooting capability. Experience supporting part quality and maintaining quality requirements. Strong leadership and project management skills. Strong technical understanding of embedded hardware and software controls. Demonstrated initiative, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with coworkers.
Function Circuit Test development experience. Experience using Six Sigma and reliability engineering methodology. Demonstrated experience with design responsibility for a UL60730 certified control. Significant experience owning and executing design changes with electronics/software content.
