Coordinate with team members to identify new lender partners, provide high quality customer service to all lending partners and share appropriate information to help the association achieve its desired results. Develop and maintain a significant professional presence. Spend time out of the office to build professional relationships with customers based on mutual trust and respect to facilitate an understanding of participation partner goals, credit strengths and weaknesses of the customer.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the loan participation market by leveraging industry knowledge, market trends, and competitive intelligence. Using knowledge of servicing, effectively negotiate and communicate options to the customer (lender and/or borrower). Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business, Agriculture or related field. Five or more years of progressively responsible agricultural credit experience involving the marketing and extension of credit to Agribusiness and large, complex farm accounts. Skill in complex financial structures, sales calling, team involvement, and automated sales systems are required. Prior experience in negotiating, structuring, and closing complex loan transactions is strongly preferred.
