Position Summary The Engineering Manager shall oversee all Engineering, Drafting and Quality Control operations. The Engineer Manager shall work on various engineering and technical projects, as well as continuous improvements in manufacturing. Manage CAD Departments to run effectively. Oversee Drafting Department to improving efficiency and quality of drawings.
Develop and provide information on Best Practices in the Engineering and Production Departments (rebar reduction, form improvements, efficiency improvements, mix designs, etc. ). Provide technical assistance and perform technical sales presentations in front of a group. Provide engineering and development to new and existing products using design programs such as SAP 2000, RISA 3D, Auto CAD, Excel spreadsheets, Mathcad, etc. Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
Must possess the ability to read and interpret drawings and be able to perform structural designs for such products as box culverts, bridges and specialty structures. In this role you will design, build and manage the infrastructure and technology powering our cloud service platform. The SRE will be responsible for building and operating all aspects of our cloud based infrastructure with a focus on automation and tool development. This is a high impact role in a fast-paced org that is experiencing massive client growth and runs on the most cutting-edge AWS/GCP/Azure cloud based infrastructure. The SRE should be able to balance competing priorities with attention to detail, should be a creative problem solver, should be naturally curious and driven to excellence; should be eager to learn about the rapidly evolving open source tools and platforms and use them as appropriate.
Our development and design approach assumes configuration and infra as code. We want motivated high performers who can leverage brilliant ideas into automated configuration and deployment while troubleshooting and resolving any issues when automation doesn't work like it should. Responsibilities Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor the organization's network, systems, and applications for security threats, anomalies, and vulnerabilities. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to address security incidents and breaches.
Investigate security alerts and provide timely resolution. Security Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, and antivirus solutions. Threat Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and incorporate threat intelligence into security strategies and defenses. Vulnerability Management: Identify and backss vulnerabilities in the organization's infrastructure and applications.
Implement patch management processes and strategies to mitigate risks. Security Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Security Awareness and Training: Conduct security awareness programs and training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization. Security Auditing and Compliance: Perform security audits, backssments, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.
Security Documentation: Maintain documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Security Incident Reporting: Prepare and submit incident reports to management, detailing the nature of the incident, its impact, and the actions taken. Security Testing: Conduct security testing, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk backssments, to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and compliance, to implement security measures and address vulnerabilities.
Education and Experience Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent with 2-4 years' experience in Software Design, Development and Production Operations Required Skills 2+ years of experience managing Cloud or Datacenter Systems 2+years working in Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred) 2+ years building tools with at least one of the programming languages (Python, GO) 2+ years' experience architecting and administering Databases (Postgres, My SQL) 2+ years' experience with system automation and deployment tools (Jenkins, Ansible) 2+ years' experience with Kubernetes troubleshooting and implementations.
2+ years' experience with Networking Troubleshooting Preferred Skills Support day to day Sec Ops activities and implement Cl/CD on Dev Ops tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, Git Hub/Bitbucket, Ansible, Spinnaker, and Jira. Experience in conducting infrastructure provisioning, perform releases and deployments of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Teleport, and Terraform. Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and vendor provided tools Ability to Work on cloud technology tools like New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus and Humio for monitoring and observability.
Experience with performance tuning and benchmarking for Cloud Systems Ability to work on cloud native applications hosted on AWS Cloud.
