This role will develop, draft, and manage customer, salesforce, and other internal communications necessary to notify of business and policy changes. Day-to-Day Role: Track and participate in projects, initiatives,
and business changes that will require notification and direction to customers, salesforce, and other internal parties. Collaborate with business functions to understand business processes, projects, and initiatives and establish effective communication plans.
Develop work plans identifying tasks, timeline schedules, and milestones to meet desired communication output. Gather, analyze, and compile information from various functional areas and via reporting tools (BI, Power BI, etc. ) to distribute accurate and efficient communications that are easy to understand. Draft communications and work with leadership to gather input to advance communications to a final state. Apply strategic thinking
to communications to identify appropriate messages.
Ensure all communications meet business standards, follow corporate guidelines, as well as coordinate approvals with various corporate leaders. Oversee the distribution of necessary communications to broad audiences, including system-based communications used, such as mass emails. Organize and lead meetings to prepare for communications. Actively participate in team building and the development of shared and effective processes. Participants in these efforts may include individuals from other departments. Prepare and deliver status reports to management and project team leads. Assist in creating and maintaining information on Share Point sites.
Provide post-communication support as needed. Additional project work as assigned by Sales Administration management. Core Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess all of the following: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field, with 1 year experience drafting and distributing high quality and effective business communications to a large audience. Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point. Intermediate proficiency level required with Share Point, Microsoft Outlook, as well as with Excel, including V Lookups and Pivot tables. Must be self-confident. Ability to take a stand, speak up on decisions and actions and recommend alternatives. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to learn new concepts quickly and efficiently. Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks and projects Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities.
