Ensure prompt communication with FAA, air carriers, and other airport users; Perform airport security inspections & responsible operation and monitoring of airport security systems under requirements of TSR1542; Perform gate guard duties to include inspecting vehicles for authorization, checking badges, and ensuring escort procedures are adhered to; Respond to security-related incidents and properly document the occurrence, notify the Airport Security Coordinator (ASC); Conducts record checks, processes documents, and issues badges including entry into computerized systems and filing of badging records; Provides security training; Perform snow removal operations as assigned; Performs employee screening; Performs other duties as assigned.
