Act as an IT support liaison between Restaurant Support Center, Restaurants and strategic vendors. Performs preventative maintenance service, emergency repair, and cosmetic repair on restaurant equipment and property. Performs hands-on fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
Performs hands-off fixes (via telephone and with/without remote management tools), including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications. Assists where necessary in the installation and modification of equipment, including those resulting from special projects (i. e. mobile app, digital menu
boards, kiosk, camera, audio/visual, etc. ) Monitors and oversees outside contract work in assigned stores, ensures proper coordination and communication between all involved parties.
Performs regular inspections of all assigned locations and reports the condition and maintenance status of equipment and property. Provides ongoing training and education to store management personnel regarding equipment care and execution. Ensures accurate and timely reporting of invoices, maintenance logs, purchase orders, capital appropriation and all other required administrative paperwork. Maintains store-level records of equipment, spare parts and company owned tool inventories. Provides reports as
requested. Assists the IT department with recommendations regarding capital budget expenditures for equipment, building and property repair or replacement.
Maintains current service and warranty records and prevents repair expenses not covered by or in violation of warranties. Performs duties as required for store openings, Restaurant Support Center, special events, fairs and the store closing program; assists in transfer, sales and/or disposal of equipment. Assists with supervisory responsibilities in the absence of supervisor, as requested. Above all else provides 1st and 2nd tier technical support for our restaurant locations. Requested familiarity with Revel POS (Apple i Pad/i OS environment) and 3 rd party delivery, credit card pin pads (Ingenico IPP350, Lane 3000), Zebra ZD410, Epson M30/T88, MS-16, MS-13 cash drawer, QSEE cameras, Lorex, Swan, Yi Wi-Fi cameras. Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred Experience 1 to 3 or more years in directly related networking, cabling, operating systems, and general maintenance/repair work which includes demonstrated proficiency of technology-based areas in QSR.
