Environmental Health & Justice Campaign is EHC's sister 501(c)(4) organization. Position Overview: As a canvasser at EHC, the majority of your job will be contacting people to inform them about issues that affect their community such as how/where to vote, and how to support local government policies to improve air quality, public transportation, and
green spaces. This is a PART-TIME - Temporary position, working approximately 16 hours per week; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Makes phone callsfrom a remote workspace of choice or the EHC office Knocks on doors in neighborhoods such as Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, City Heights, and National City (while maintaining 6 ft.
of distance) Drops off flyers or other literature on doorsteps of the same communities listed above Gathers signatures in public spaces, community meetings, etc. Attends trainings and workshops to better understand environmental justice issues Helps with set up and break down of some events REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS : Must
