In Short: The CAD Drafter for our Custom Saw Shop is tasked with bridging the customer experience with the daily operations of the Saw Shop. This individual is responsible for creating 3
dimensional drawings in Easy STONE and assisting with drawings in Auto CAD as needed. The CAD Drafter will serve as the point person for project scheduling questions and ensuring the sales department has required information when needed.
Role and Responsibilities Read product specifications and create 3D drawings in Easy STONE. Assist in the creation of Auto CAD drawings as needed, based on production demand. Collect and verify accuracy of sales orders and production data. Review incoming orders and lead time requests ensuring the Saw Shop team has the required materials available for on-time order completion. Assist the Saw Shop Supervisor with tracking documentation for all Saw Shop
employees. Other duties as assigned by the Saw Shop Supervisor, all of which have a direct impact on the overall profitability and success of our Custom Saw Shop.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Formal education and/or on the job experience using design/drafting software is required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
