A DAY IN THE LIFEReporting to the Proposal Director, this role supports the MES division. As a key member of the Proposal team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including: Proposal Writing Identify opportunities using approved lead sources (as and when applicable).

Provide technical guidance to internal and external project teams for adherence to organizational design standards and industry best practices Lead, oversee, review, and approve the work of the Substation Engineering department to ensure professional-level output of short circuit studies, relay settings, substation control drawings, and other necessary deliverables Improve
overall department performance through continuous training, detailed instruction, professional development, and purposeful motivation of Protection Engineering personnel.
Organize and prioritize the work of the Substation Engineering department and assigned resources to follow projected capital project construction and in-service milestones. Develop and manage department O&M budget to approved budget levels Collaborate with NERC Compliance department and monitor regulatory and standardizing bodies to maintain familiarity with applicable protection requirements. Lead and oversee the Substation Engineering department in root causal analysis, corrective action planning, and submission of any applicable NERC-data reporting for system events.
