NATURE AND SCOPE: Individual will assist department management in the planning and scheduling with coordination of planned shutdown work. Individual will work in partnership with the stockroom parts buyer to monitor delivery dates of parts and equipment to ensure timely delivery for scheduled jobs.
Individual will provide pertinent communication with maintenance department personnel regarding the status of parts and equipment ordered, staged materials, and job costing. repairs materials for approved work requests. Prepare purchase requisitions and expedite, as needed, delivery of products and services. Provide estimated time and costs for planning purposes.
Provide a safe working environment by assuring compliance with all applicable codes and laws. Provide interface between maintenance workers, operation personnel, and outside resources. Assist in development of PM’s, predictive maintenance, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Provide training on CMMS systems. Perform other assigned duties as directed by Maintenance Supervisor. AUTHORITY: Plan and prioritize work requests based on shutdown schedules. EXTENDED TRAINING: Support the MCE/Lean process.
