LEWP has an opening in our Sales & Engineering Department for a Sr Design Engineer position. The Sr Design Engineer will play a pivotal role providing precast and cast-in-place reinforcing steel designs to current building codes and the specifications of the company's equipment and welders. This role demands a Professional Engineer with a proven
track record in managing substantial projects and deep understanding of the engineering and design principles in a high-capacity manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include: Lead engineering design projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and business goals Estimate productivity of mesh styles for pricing recommendations Work closely with production and sales to align engineering designs with market demands and company capabilities Document QC issues and communicate with customers and internal sales and production staff to resolve issues Participate in industry associations Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Minimum 10 years of experience
in engineering design with significant experience in project management Demonstrated experience in production of wire mesh Familiarity with production equipment and material configurations Knowledge of ASTM material specifications an ACI building code requirements Auto CAD Salesforce CRM Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills
