Your role at Baxter As a critical member of the Batesville team, the Senior Engineer plays a primary role in maintaining our facilities equipment and our five-building campus. In this leader role within the maintenance team, the Senior Facilities Engineer fills a key spot on the team and manages projects

What you'll be doing Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing and utilities. Support the manufacturing process, with projects to improve the quality, cost and lean manufacturing. Support manufacturing in the installation of new processes. Responsible for maintenance budgets. Comply & provide all corporate requirements. Develop, implement programs & practices to 100% compliance with applicable federal, state, local and Baxter regulations & practices. Assure the execution of the maintenance programs.
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives. To lead the zero-harm initiative at Baxter. What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in engineering.3+ years' experience in the following specialties: facilities and equipment maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical abilities. Understanding of structures and engineering evaluations, roofing systems, and pressure vessels (boilers/steam). Ability to manage capital projects through appropriate contractors and vendors. Knowledge of machine safety applications, maintenance systems, industrial processes, electrical systems, electrical wiring diagrams, safety, electrical code, and safety laws.
Preference for experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers and servo drives.6s, systems implementation. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position.
We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
