What you'll be doing Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing and utilities. Support the manufacturing process, with projects to improve the quality, cost and lean manufacturing. Support manufacturing in the installation of new processes. Responsible for maintenance budgets. Assure the execution of the maintenance programs.

What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in engineering.3+ years' experience in the following specialties: facilities and equipment maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical abilities. Understanding of structures and engineering evaluations, roofing systems, and pressure vessels (boilers/steam). Ability to manage capital projects through appropriate contractors and vendors. Knowledge of machine safety applications, maintenance systems, industrial processes, electrical systems, electrical wiring diagrams, safety, electrical code, and safety laws.
Preference for experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers and servo drives.6s, systems implementation. At BWXT, our interns perform challenging tasks in their field of study while developing and delivering unique solutions for use in a nuclear environment. Our interns work collaboratively as part of our manufacturing and operational teams and will tackle various projects and tasks relating directly to fabrication and engineering challenges.
