Plasman , is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as: IT Project Manager The IT Project Manager plans, implements, coordinates, and oversees small to large-scale IT projects throughout the organization ensuring deliverables are
on time and on budget. Key Responsibilities include: Responsible for performing project management work in planning, coordinating, and managing one or more small- to large-scale IT projects of moderate to high complexity/risk simultaneously.
Ensures project objectives are clearly scoped, documented, and tracked throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinates all project deliverables with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, consultants, and end-users regarding project requirements. Helps identify key personnel, external resources, and vendors to support project objectives. Outlines, defines, and initiates the project with the project team Compiles project reports and informs
management regarding progress, risks, and problems. Ensures compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards Monitors and tracks project expenditures in accordance with the set project budget.
Communicates with stakeholders throughout all phases of the project. Works with IT Leadership to establish the IT technology roadmap to support business growth and helps plan required projects and budgets to support defined strategies. Works directly with the IT Management team to support projects across all IT departments and locations. Always promotes an atmosphere of teamwork Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained Complete any other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION /OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a post-secondary school diploma or equivalent Candidates with PMP or equivalent certification preferred MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have 3+ years of experience in a project management role Experience leading large scale IT projects in complex manufacturing environments.
Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform well in fast paced situations Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
