Job Summary Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules. Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and
disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety. Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. The Concessions Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The Concessions Supervisor will assist the Director of Concessions and the rest of the leadership team with projects including training, inventory verification, and special events. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure proper set-up of all concession locations prior to doors. Set-up duties may
include: verifying opening inventory, assigning duties to concession workers (employee/volunteer), verifying that each location is fully operational including staffing and food production level have been met; assuring that Stand Manager or NFP Stand Leader has followed proper procedures for distribution and handling of cash.
Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise resulting in the smooth execution of events. Training new & current employees on proper procedures and best practices. Willing to cover / back-up any open position to assure location is fully operational and company standards pertaining to speed of service and guest satisfaction are met Ensure work environment
is safe. Immediately address all safety concerns, potential hazards, accidents, or incidents.
Relays safety/health issues to management immediately. Ensure event staff and volunteers are aware of workplace expectations; provide on-going assistance, training and mentoring to event staff and volunteers; promote a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative workplace environment by working side-by-side with staff and volunteers; reinforce procedures and practices through repetition; lead by example and provide on-going constructive feedback. Ability to obtain working knowledge of all existing concession locations and equipment. Responsible for supervising the service of alcohol beverages to guests.
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Assures that the location and equipment is clean prior to and end of event. Enforces all company policies and procedures. Assists Management team with projects including training, inventory and special events. All other duties as assigned by leadership team. Requirements: At Least 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment. Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, client, and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Great people skills and decision-making ability. Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory. The ability to supervise, train and coordinate the concession team. Available to work a flexible schedule. Operational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment Serv Safe Certification is a plus. Professional image Working Conditions: Full-Time Game day hours may range from 8 to 10 hours per day.
Required to work weekends and holidays. May be required to lift and carry boxes up to 30 pounds.
