Guard to join our team at the Motel 6 located in Poplar Bluff, MO. This person will be responsible for maintaining the hotels safety and security by patrolling all areas of the hotel, including parking lots. This position will work on the weekends, in the evenings.
What You Will Be Doing: Patrol all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots. Document a security report on a daily log including incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations. Maintain familiarity of all hotel disaster and emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help Enforce the 'No Solicitation Policy' of the hotel. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: All employees, both full-time and part-time, are required to attend, and complete the Basic Training classes administered by the Department of Corrections. By assignment, a position may require: Ability to complete Defensive Tactics and Standard First Aid CPR training during Basic Training administered by the Missouri Department of Corrections. Ability to complete and maintain firearms certification training administered by the Missouri Department of Corrections. Possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.
