Responsibilities: Learning Design and Instructional Development (50%) Partners with faculty on course design, development, and reflection through consultation Works collaboratively with faculty members through the online and residential course development process to ensure consistency and quality Build and support courses within a range of learning management systems Designs and builds quality online courses Training, Programs, and Faculty Development (30%) Provides workshops on teaching and technology topics for faculty, staff, and students Creates written materials (including on-demand training) to improve teaching practices Assists instructors in identifying learning needs and pairing appropriate accessibility practices and educational technologies Participates in training and support for Quinnipiac’s educational technology stack as needed Project Management (5%) Aid in the creation of project management plans, tracking project tasks, communicating with all participants, and conducting retrospectives Works directly with project leadership and collaborators on projects, offering management input to implement emerging technologies and pedagogical practices Demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects and events under tight deadlines and quality standards Leadership (10%) Helps other colleagues and shares their skills with others Keeps informed of the current scholarship on learning sciences, teaching, and practices Builds meaningful and lasting relationships with others in the institution via cross-team collaborations Other (5%) Performs other duties as assigned Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum Experience designing learning experiences in multiple environments: face-to-face, online, hybrid, and via video conferencing technologies Experience working, supporting, and teaching in Learning Management Systems (e.
