This position is also responsible for the IT Help Desk including duties of answering the help desk phone line for faculty, staff and students. Help desk duties include tracking all work orders using a help desk ticket tracking system. The position creates and manages users accounts and access. This position will also work closely with other
areas of the IT department to assist in the delivery of College applications. Perform web updates for the portal, mobile portal app and the technology web page.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. 4+ years of experience in an Information Technology Department Strong computer and technology troubleshooting skills, including Microsoft Windows 10, Apple i OS and OS, and use of the Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
Experience with Microsoft 365 apps and services. Have a solid working knowledge using and configuring LAN, WLAN, VPN, CAT5/6, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and other currently utilized system protocols. Excellent written and oral communications skills. The ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, administrators, and the public. Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team. Ability to work quickly and accurately to complete tasks. Ability to work well with people who have a wide variety of technical skills and able to adapt training to address those skill levels.
Ability to multitask and adjust quickly to needs of instructors/students/Academic Technology team. Contract Specifics: This is a full-time professional appointment. Annual salary is $45,000-$50,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
