Senior Test Engineer 1
seeking a Senior Test Engineer to assure that our leading-edge products in the Defense, Security, Automation and Geotechnical industries meet Customer requirements and perform at a world-class level. The ideal candidate should be ready to make an impact by participating in the design process, developing test plans, and providing performance information used to drive system improvement all while monitoring the preservation of Customer requirements.
As a Senior Test Engineer, you’ll be involved in design and system development projects to ensure that quality standards are being followed and customer requirements are being met. What you’ll do as a Senior Test Engineer + Work on fun and
challenging systems such as offroad vehicles, large pavement test machines, or weapon systems. + Participate in the review of customer requirements. + Develop test plans, methods, and equipment to assure system and customer requirements are being met.
+ Execute testing per the developed test plans and procedures. + Prepare test reports after completion of the testing. + Document and report technical issues found during testing and work with the engineering and project manager to identify solutions. + Collaborate with the engineering team to develop test benches that help retire risk early in projects. + Participate in design reviews. Verify that all required testing has been completed
before assets are allowed to ship. Senior Test Engineer Requirements + A strong focus on detail-oriented work + Excellent observational, analytical, and creative skills + Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members + Strong investigation and problem-solving skills + Willingness to hold stakeholders accountable for meeting Customer requirements in accordance with Quality System procedures + Bachelor's (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in a test engineering role and at least 8 years of related technical experience + Experience with various sensor types and data acquisition systems + Availability to travel 10-25% within the US.
+ A strong emphasis on safety during testing and willingness to stop the line if safety risks are present.
