Top Secret level clearance required with valid a background investigation • Minimum 8 years of experience in satellite communication systems engineering, implementation, and testing which must include at least 2 years in design of electronic circuits for use in harsh/space environments.
• Must have Extensive experience in product development, planning and life cycle management; requirements analysis, traceability and documentation and generation of concepts of operation. • Expert in high speed analog (GHz) and digital data acquisition circuit design including simulation of analog, power and digital circuitry for space applications. • Expert in proper circuit board layout techniques for low EMI, EMC, and ESD constraints pertaining to space systems.

Overview: Perform tasks which
include circuit development, performance modeling, end-to-end simulation and implementation of digital data acquisition and control circuits for use in satellites and other space vehicles.
Work will include design, verification and testing of detailed design work targeting specific hardware platforms. The modeling and simulation work will include a combination of tackling challenging digital design and algorithm implementation problems. Work in a lab environment on a variety of platforms including Microsemi (Actel) and Xilinx FPGAs. Education Requirement: A minimum of a Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics. Required Qualifications: • Minimum overall experience
of 10 years with a minimum of 4 years experience implementing digital signal processing systems • Candidate should have experience with FPGAs, VHDL coding, microprocessors, analog to digital converters, analog multiplexers and digital subsystems.
Candidate should be familiar with VHDL design and logic verification tools including Libero, Riviera, Timing Designer, and Model Sim. Candidate should have experience with digital design capture and verification tools such as Cadence and PSpice • Ability to work individually or in teams is necessary • Requires excellent written and oral presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Candidate should have programming experience and familiarity with computer programming languages such as C/C++, JAVA, Python and hardware description language (VHDL preferred) and also a variety of operating systems (Windows, LINUX).
Previous exposure to various digital system hardware components and respective testing methods using logic analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, vector signal analyzers, and spectrum analyzers is desirable. Overview: Run GNC simulations for GEO missions using hybrid spacecraft simulation system. Analyze spacecraft attitude and orbit determination and control loops using MATLAB. Design various GNC algorithms using various tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
Develop subsystem specifications. Be involved with the development of GNC flight software.
Participate in the verification and validation of GNC flight software. Develop and test operations scripts. Provide support to program Flight Assurance Manager in review of various activities. Job Responsibilities 1. Implements and administers
