Systems, Service Engineer

At Atotech, an MKS brand, we are looking for a Systems, Service Engineer to support customers on a client site in Charlestown, New Hampshire, and to cover the East Coast.
You will service, install, demonstrate, and sell company chemistry products. This role reports to the Business Manager, NA and partners closely with customers on their sites. You will: Install chemistry products at customer facilities. Optimize the process and adjust as necessary. Train customer personnel. Perform inventories at customer
sites. Write and submit chemical usage forecasts to Atotech planning. Perform audits of customer processes to insure optimum performance and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with Atotech and customer shipping/receiving departments to resolve shipment and billing issues. Suggest improvements and refinements to existing equipment as well as new applications and opportunities. Perform analysis of customer process chemistries on site. (Via Atomic Absorption, ICP, Titration or other chemical analysis methods). Participate in demonstrations, technical presentations and any activity which could lead to increased sales of company products and services. Perform other related duties that may
be assigned or associated with the responsibility of the position.
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or other technical/engineering field. Must have the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems Preferred: 1+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry troubleshooting of chemical processes. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required for the position. Basic computing skills - proficient in MS Office, use the software tools for Chemical Analysis Physical Conditions and Working Environments: May work in a Cleanroom environment Wear personal protective equipment such as rubber gloves, face shield, safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection Standing, lift 50 pounds up to 4 feet off the ground.
Noisy environment All employees who handle hazardous waste will be trained initially within 6 months of assignment and annually thereafter. Training will be appropriate to the job position and may include (but not limited to) instruction on waste identification, determination, accumulation, inspections, labeling, manifesting, recordkeeping, and emergency response procedures.
