Support the development, deployment, implementation, and on-going execution of the food safety preventive controls program Perform internal audit process to objectively evaluate performance, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and provide feedback to proper leadership throughout the company.
Develops easy-to-understand content and delivers training for micro lab methodology. Maintains plant sanitation standards and processes to reduce food safety risks within the plant. Conducts food safety audits to identify deviations from standards to reduce risk of contamination. Documents and follows up on root cause analysis pertaining to micro failures in the facility.
Collects data and compiles reports that reflect trends and that identify potential problems and fixes them. Leverage the use of technology to automate and manage compliance processes.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to instill a food safety culture in the organization. Requirements/skills: Bachelor s of Science degree, preferably in microbiology or biology or similiar5+ years' in a Lab environment within a food/beverage manufacturing facility Experience managing direct reports. Experience using oral and written communication skills to propose complex solutions and explanations. Experience managing multiple projects and work streams. Experience working with and presenting to business leadership on escalations in order to problem solve. PCQI and HACCP certified UI915054
