The Laboratory Technologist will work in but not limited to Cytogenetics, Genetics or Infectious Disease (ID): Clinical laboratory to perform clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated methods, in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures. Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Ensures all medical laboratory safety standards and quality
requirements are met. Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel. Must utilize critical and independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in biology or other related field that includes 30 combined semester hours of biological science and chemistry required.
