Evaluate Office 365 and Cisco Jabber usage (monitoring service health, analyzing usage reports, and responding to user feedback and support requests) and recommend changes to USSOCOM for service improvement. backss Office 365 and Cisco Jabber updates and new features and evaluate how they may impact USSOCOM. Review and make recommendations for configuration settings for USSOCOM's use and set up of Cisco Jabber, including installing the software/updates, configuring settings, and connecting to USSOCOM's server(s). The Cloud Systems Engineer will construct cloud based servers work with networking during implementation and rollout. The Engineer is responsible for working with Exchange Administrators to configure Office 365 environments. Strong background of cloud security best practices for cloud-native applications and services in an Azure environment. Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions in Azure, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics. Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) in Azure, including Entra ID and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Ability to conduct vulnerability backssments, security audits, and penetration testing in an Azure cloud environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, developers, and IT operations, to drive secure and efficient cloud-native solutions.
Facilitate the adoption of Dev Sec Ops principles in data engineering processes, such as version control for data pipelines and automated testing of data transformations. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards related to cloud security, privacy, and data protection, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
