What You'll Get to Do: The Sr Transport Network Specialist will proactively contribute to the analysis, design, planning and ongoing support to NMCI transport areas. Other duties include: Serve
as a technical expert for vendor solutions and for engineering support solutions and products related to transport. Perform reach back into vendor research, development, and technical support teams to ensure effective design and application in the production environment.
Perform solution development and engineering work for networking/transport. Participate in the planning of upgrades, replacement, configuration, and maintenance of networking/transport projects. Engineer solutions that provide secure, effective and efficient operation of systems, architecture, and topology for transport. Participate in new and existing IT modernization, expansion, and improvement projects related to transport

Lead analysis, review, and validation with customers, stakeholders, and team members for NMCI projects and changes related to transport.
