Primary Responsibilities Administer and manage physical and virtual UNIX systems running RHEL 6. x, 7. x and 8. x Responsible for managing/administering the day-to-day operations of Unix systems at three physical locations; Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA and Honolulu, HI. Oversee incident resolution, ensuring appropriate response to escalations Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure

Assist with the collection of intrusion artifacts (e. g. source code, malware, and trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential computer network defense (CND) incidents within the enterprise. Develop, enhance, integrate, and ensure interoperability of new processes and capabilities into the NCTE, which provides the foundation for Fleet Synthetic Training-Aviation (FST-A) events and delivers an integrated, non-platform-specific capability that responds to real-world challenges. Research inclusion of models for defeating asymmetric and emerging threats via persistent and stealthy distributed, large area presence capabilities; stimulation of suspect entities; and disruption and deception of potential hostiles.
