This position provides thought-leadership, works autonomously, and supports multiple business domains and their technology needs bringing in-depth expertise on business and technical knowledge across these domains. Brings in industry standards and practices, aligns with Enterprise best practices and assists the technology leadership members adopt these practices as
needed. Responsibilities: Project and Product Management Responsible to support the creation of technology-business cases, sketch the plan for the desired business outcomes (short, medium, and long term) and translate the plan into the strategic objectives along with the IT manager and Project Managers (where necessary).
Align with the Product Managers (where applicable) to develop the product roadmap to achieve business outcome. This phase iterates every quarter and annually to fine tune the program needs continuously and address the changes within the business function. Technology Delivery Function Align with IT manager and business functional managers to enable successful implementation and execution of BAU and Project deliverables.
Drive initiatives around business support activities. Stakeholder Management - Works in conjunction with IT Leadership, Business stakeholders, Enterprise PMOs, Architecture, Infrastructure and outside parties who can impact the business outcome. Assists in negotiations with external consultants or technology vendors. Facilitates communication between IT teams and other business units as necessary. May serve as a project resource to IT leadership or as a part of larger enterprise-wide initiatives. Reporting and Metric - Develops methods of tracking progress and performance of the tech function.
Analyzes results to determine potential issues, risks, and enhancements. Conveys recommendations to appropriate parties through reports or other documentation. May review tasks status, applications, or technical processes to determine metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Project management or Program management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Project management or Program management Advanced Project Management and technology knowledge Advanced communication skills and demonstrated ability to partner in conjunction with IT leadership and stakeholders Ability to drive straetgic directions License or Certification Type: Project Management Professional certification or SAFE 6.0 (Preferred)
