The Community Relations Manager oversees various community programs. This role manages the SSVEC Youth Programs website, handling design, contents and updates Additionally, this individual manages the Foundation Program, encompassing the YES Fair, scholarships, and Washington Youth Tour. Event planning is another critical aspect of this role, successfully organizing and overseeing the Annual
Meeting, Key Accounts events, Family Day, County Fairs, and other related events. The essential functions listed below are general examples and not a description of comprehensive duties.
Manages community programs such as Bright Idea, Surge Protection, Operation Roundup, SSVEC's Foundation Youth and External Safety Programs. Responsible for supporting each community SSVEC serves by working with non-profit organizations for grants and donations. Responsible for all SSVEC booths for trade shows, special events, public appearances and annual meetings, including execution and setup as needed. Maintains positive working relationships with employees, members and the public. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in organizing complex events, sales/marketing experience and/or training.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Arizona Driver License.
