This position will be coordinating and assuring execution of foster standard operating procedures, arranging transfer of animals to and from foster homes and for coordinating all aspects of the movement of animals into and out of foster homes from the shelter.
This includes gathering necessary information to make good foster home/animal matches, arranging foster pick-up appointments, gathering & distributing foster supplies, reviewing relevant information with the foster home at time of pick-up, processing the foster placement in computer database, maintaining regular communication (both
proactively and responsively) with foster home during foster period, scheduling follow-up appointments, handling follow-up appointment intake and subsequent return to foster home.
Will work closely with our medical and behavior departments to monitor the health and welfare of the animals off site.
