Controls emergency situations, which may include resetting alarms, evacuation and/or shutdown of
building. Conducts initial investigations by interviewing and obtaining written statements from customers/employees; completes a thorough and accurate report in a timely manner.
Completes and verifies gaming paperwork, departmental logs, reports and parking violations. Communicates with other security personnel using two-way radios according to established codes and procedures. Oversees the Lost and Found program by ensuring that all items found are bagged and tagged and accounted for through written documentation. Confers with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of Casino activities with law enforcement and firefighting agencies.
Acts as EMT as required; responds to emergency medical situations, administers first aid treatments, assists paramedics and other emergency medical service personnel; provides emergency medical care to casino patrons, administering first aid and artificial respiration to injured persons and those overcome by a life-threatening emergency. Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required. Performs other duties as required.
