A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BROADBAND SERVICE TECHNICIAN As a Broadband Service Technician, you work directly with our customers in their homes installing fiber fast internet, TV, and phone systems. You will assist our customers with any questions or issues they have with our products or services during the installation process. Because you are knowledgeable about field services and network operations, you
are able to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently. Customer satisfaction is your top priority, so you are proactive about anticipating current and potential needs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BROADBAND SERVICE TECHNICIAN High school diploma or equivalent 0 to 12 months entry-level experience Have common knowledge of consumer computer equipment/router devices, telephone, TV and related home electronics. Working knowledge of hand and power tools a must Thorough knowledge of first-aid and CPR Valid Missouri Class E driver's license Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, or sit for prolonged periods of time as well as the ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds Trade school training and/or certification and one or more years of experience in customer premise installation of electronic equipment or low voltage wiring are preferred but not required.
