Deliver consultation to school staff and families to support scholar intervention plans. Provide mental health and psychosocial backssments and evaluations of scholars referred for support services. Use web-based data systems or programs to backss the needs of scholars to enhance their school performance. Collaborate and provide professional recommendations to multidisciplinary support teams and scholar support teams. Provide monthly and annual reports
on the progress of mental health programs in the district. Assist and provide crisis intervention and threat backssments for all schools in the network.
Conduct home visits as a method to access the family and conduct interviews in response to school referrals. Provide case management to scholars and their families. Develop and provide professional development to network and individual schools regarding the mental-health related needs of scholars. Provide supervision and oversight for school social workers and non-terminally licensed clinical staff. Support the efforts within the district to become a self-sustaining school-based mental health center- including credentialing and insurance billing in the future.
Participate and collaborate with a school's positive behavior intervention support (PBIS) teams which is a component of the multi-tiered system of support. Assist in the coordination of the Response to Intervention-Behavior Framework (RTI-B) which is a component of the multi-tiered system of support. Experience working with students, families, and school staff in K-12 school settings is preferred; however, professional development in the educational setting will be provided.
