Resource Planning System (Oracle). The Distribution Manager develops and recommends plans for process improvement, greater efficiencies, and scalability. Ensures customer quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met Help create a culture of continuous improvement and positive teamwork Coordinates with all departments to facilitate efficient distribution operations Investigates customer complaints involving such matters as damaged product, delays or missing deliveries Makes adjustments to processes to ensure customer satisfaction Promptly resolves internal and external customer service issues or concerns Leads inventory management and reconciliation to ensure the highest degree of accuracy
Maintains the physical condition and maintenance of the distribution center Maintains hazardous waste according to EH&S procedures Monitors compliance with all regulatory, quality and OSHA regulations Supervisory Responsibilities Manages the Distribution Associates.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements (Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, etc. ) Minimum of 5 years of experience
managing distribution operations in the medical space preferred Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills Effective written communication skills Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work Effective organization, planning and time management skills Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Demonstrated knowledge of computer-based shipping systems Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle and electronic pick-pack-ship systems preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel working knowledge of Microsoft Word Must possess a current and valid WI driver's license Current and valid Forklift license preferred Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings/instructions, as well as a variety of company and federal regulations Language Skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports or business correspondence. Computer Skills Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to learn various software programs.
