Performs all tasks with safety procedures for self and others in mind. Serves as a Team Player assisting other mechanics to carry out duties. Listens to others to receive training in the department in areas such as pump repair, bearing replacement and gear drive repair Assists with workload while following instructions and assisting with replacement of faulty mechanical, hydraulic,
pneumatic, and electrical components of machines and equipment.
Assist in repair and adjustment of Ag World grading lab equipment. Demonstrates comfort with work in a team environment. Works in a safe manner and utilizes personal protective equipment and observes safety policies such as Lock Out/Tag Out procedures to ensure personal and the safety of others. Assists with basic carpentry as needed to support the department. Learns to operate a forklift and scissor-lift. Learns and practices welding functions, including Stick, Tig, and Mig.
