training with our Nurse Educators. These are prescheduled classes from 8 am to 4:30 pm. These in person classes will typically fall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday week 1 of employment. Because these classes are prescheduled, you must attend all full days, and we cannot reschedule any of the required dates if you cannot attend.
Attendance is compensated, as it is required for compliance. The remainder of your training is done on your unit, during the hours of the position you accepted and is also compensated. Essential Functions Responsibilities include taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed bathing, ambulating, wound care, catheterization and acting as a safety attendant for patients.
Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider.
Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner. Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN or Provider, consistent with clinical policies and procedures, and department standard work.
