Description of Job The Transfer Advisor will be responsible for orienting, advising, and retaining students for all departments represented

Utilize Starfish enrollment management system to identify students at risk and provide academic interventions as well as make referrals when elicited. Liaison Work closely with the academic departments and faculty advisors to ensure that students are taking correct classes for major.
Work individually with faculty and staff from appropriate offices to ensure that related academic problems experienced by caseload of students are satisfactorily resolved. Work with high school partners, supporting dual enrollment needs. Outreach + Attend on- and off-campus outreach events and conduct educational presentations in local educational institutions to support enrollment growth at the Sturm campus. Data Collection Collect both quantitative and qualitative data related to each student, major and caseload. Generate reports based on collected data.
