Ensure all employees properly understand the importance of safety in the workplace. Manage the Company plant risk management process as well as the Safran HSE standards program. Interface with JV counterpart and manage the implementation of common HSE systems. Designs, redesigns, or enhances work areas and work stations according to Safran OS-Dev and OS-Mfg standards and Lean principles.
Collaborates with Continuous Improvement and Facilities Engineers to produce integrated solutions for targeted process improvements. Support VSM management with designs for WIP handling and storage, and design and/or measurement of other VSM parameters mandated by Safran OS-Dev. Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs. Other duties as assigned. Job Specifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related discipline required. No less than five years of relatable experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of and adherence with applicable laws, regulations, nationally recognized standards and guidelines related to specialized health, safety and environmental functions as required by the position. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Effective team building, presentation and project management skills required.
