Direct Deposit: Selectee will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program. Incidental Driving: You may be required to operate a government (or private) motor vehicle as part
of your official duties. Prior to your first official motor vehicle operation, and again every year thereafter (or more frequently if management determines such need exists), you will be required to sign an affidavit certifying to your possession of a valid State issued driver's license that is current and has not been revoked, suspended, canceled, or otherwise disqualified in any way to prohibit your operation of a motor vehicle.
You will also submit a photocopy of your valid State issued driver's license prior to your first official motor vehicle operation, and again every year, or more frequently if management determines such need exists. Lastly, you may be required to submit (within
a State sealed envelope or submitted directly by the State authorities), and at your own expense, all certified driving records from all States that discloses all valid driver's licenses, whether current or past, possessed by you.

Motorboat Operation/Instructor Certification Course: Applicant able to obtain a Motorboat Operator Certification Course (MOCC) or Motorboat Operator Instructor Certification Course (MOICC) after entrance on duty.
Qualifications All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-12/18/2023-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i. e. work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time). If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience.
To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess at least one or all of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: EXPERIENCE: Possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of Recreation Fee Technician, GS-0503-07. Examples of specialized experience include performing fee collection, accounting or financial duties to include operating a point-of-sale system; performing recurring or standardized accounting transactions such as remittances and bank deposits in automated financial systems; ensuring accountability of funds and accurate financial record; or resolving software issues that arise in the remittance and/or fee collection process.
You must include hours per week worked. -OR- EDUCATION: Have successfully completed one full year of graduate-level study (18 semester hours or equivalent) that directly applies to the work of the position in a field such as accounting, business, or finance.
The education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcript or a complete list of college courses taken that identifies for each course the college or university, semester or quarter hours earned, grade received, and date completed. If you are using education to qualify and you do not submit specific course work information as described previously, your application will be rated not qualified. -OR- COMBINATION: Possess an equivalent combination of education and experience. For example, 6 months of the specialized experience described above (50% of the experience requirement), and 12 semester hours of graduate study from an accredited institution (75% of the qualifying education) as specified above, equals greater than 100% of the total requirement. (You MUST submit a copy of your transcripts indicating the number of credit hours and courses in order to qualify based on a combination of experience and education). You must include transcripts. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e. g. Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e. g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Non-Competitive Rehire Eligibility: Temporary seasonal employees can only maintain their non-competitive rehire eligibility if they work no more than a combined total of Temporary NTE less than 1040 hours anywhere in the National Park Service (NPS) within their established service year. Accordingly, non-competitive rehire eligibility allows for re-appointment to the same position or another position appropriate for temporary appointment with the same qualification requirements (5 CFR 316.402[b][7]), based on series and grade, anywhere in the major subdivision (NPS).

Physical Demands: This position requires standing for long periods of time, as well as walking, bending, lifting of moderately heavy items. If applicable, extreme physical exertion may be required while performing search and rescue, wildland firefighting, and other emergency response duties.
Working Conditions: Work Environment This position typically works at an entrance station, campground office, fee office, remit office, visitor center, and/or visitor contact station. Work may frequently be performed in small, outdoor structures with open windows which results in exposure to extremes of temperature, rain, snow, wind, and direct sunlight. Park areas may be geographically located in areas of high elevation, rugged terrain, or dense populations. High levels of vehicle noise and emissions may exist during heavy visitation periods.

To stand
any of the 3-shifts (7am-3pm, 3-11pm, 11pm-7am; 7 days/week), and to respond to in-house problems in support of the hospital and patients.
Responsible for maintenance and repair of all hospital equipment (except Bio-medical) in accordance with established guidelines. Will also be responsible for Grounds Maintenance and Security as directed. May be required to work outside in inclement weather (i. e. extreme heat and cold). Here's what you'll do when you join us: Monitor and maintain all hospital systems, equipment and machinery. Operate high pressure steam and low-pressure hot water boilers. Perform " preventative maintenance" and repairs on all equipment.
Perform light carpentry and painting. Have an overall understanding of other building systems and respond to repair calls. Understand the layout of the hospital and facilities. Be able to operate the building management computer system. Stay up to date on applicable laws, regulations, codes and department policies pertaining to occupational hazards and safety practices. Respond to emergencies as needed. Move heavy medical equipment, files and furniture weighing from 25-500 lbs. Maintain compliance and maintenance records of inspections.
