Works in a combined unit of medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, nursery, and swing bed patients. Performs backssments and provides care to patients of all ages in order to develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other health care providers.
Coordinates services and interventions identified in care plans. Is committed to patient and family centered care. A minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience required; Emergency Department (ED) experience or willingness to train to the ED also required. The ability to build and maintain positive working
relationships with patients and families, peers, physicians and other health care professionals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
