Trainer / Talent Developer Responsibilities : Design and maintain training content according to the requirements of the Employee Development
Program and under the guidance of the Programs Director. Maintain a database of content and employee training records. Delivers training content according to an established training calendar.
Conduct dynamic and motivating training sessions that hold the attention of the audience, stimulate interest for the subject, and engage participants. Ensure that course case studies and exercises are tailored to the company industry, soliciting the experience of tenured employees to provide relevant learning examples. Designs and implements effective methods of follow-up activity to increase transfer of learning. Create method of evaluating the effectiveness of the program and use results to continuously
improve the training program. Consistently communicate to participants the importance and value of employee development and the company's support of the initiative.
Devote time to stay abreast of emerging training technologies and develop competence in required areas of learning. Strive to become savvy of company hierarchy and business processes to ensure delivery of accurate and intelligent industry examples. Present a positive perspective, attitude, and outlook to peers and trainees. Trainer / Talent Developer Requirements At least 2 years of training experience, facilitation skills, or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Familiar with traditional and modern job training methods, trends, and techniques Experience with a LMS (Learning Management System) is a plus.
Professional certification, such as CPTM or ATD, is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must have a passion for people and purpose. Attention to detail work ethic with strong organizational skills. Must be able to work well with all levels of employees, be flexible in nature, positive, can-do attitude, and approach problems with both sound judgement and creative possibilities.
