When appropriate, visible signs of collimation to reduce radiation scatter should be evident. 2)Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patient’s condition to obtain quality images to provide to the radiologists. 3)Consistently performs 2 patient identifiers prior to the start of every patient examination. Technologists obtains history from patients regarding reason
for prescribed tests. This information is documented on the radnet order or as a PACS note for the radiologist’s review. Participation in problem solving issues addressing [patients, department operation, quality assurance, interdepartmental relationships and employee morale.
