The Maintenance Supervisor, under the directions of the Plant Manager, has the responsibility for supervising all maintenance functions for the facility, maintaining records and scheduling preventative maintenance, directing department personnel in methods and procedures that result in achieving the goals set for the department, and communicating and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities: Maintain safe and
efficient operation of all plant equipment, systems, & buildings. Coordinate with superintendent/production supervisors to maintain good production schedules. Prepare, Manage, and Maintain departmental operating budgets.
Organize the department to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Supervise the recordkeeping of repairs and parts ordering in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with the Preventative Maintenance Program. Request, organize, and direct outside contractors or service providers. Train department in proper procedures. Supervise any plant emergency situations. Plant Safety and Environmental Committees. Other duties as required or assigned by Management. Qualifications:
Excellent Maintenance & Mechanical Skills (welding, fabrication, equipment repairs, etc.
). Good communication and supervisory skills (verbal and written). Strong Organizational skills. Must be able to make quick decisions, and be flexible.
