Be a custodian of the plant s HSE policies and procedures, particularly as it relates to design, planning, and field execution of work. Supports Reliability Engineer with optimization of preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance based on failure and inspection history. Coordinate the administration of the program including the control of all data and the specification of the content and frequencies of work and inspections. Support Operations and Maintenance on troubleshooting failures, repairs and evaluating whether the equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.
During repairs, closely follow jobs to ensure that repair details such as clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, etc. are provided and documented. Leads Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) teams to diagnose equipment failures and drive corrective actions utilizing expertise on failures and repair techniques. Shares improvement bulletins and RCFA learning s with all sites and with the Reliability Network. Evaluates and produces MI Alert Reports. Implement and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions on a regular basis resulting from RCFA s, audits, and backssments. Work with operators to maintain/operate equipment in excellent working condition through the generation/updating of Standard Operating Procedures and training.
Identify, evaluate, and implement knowledge and good practice transfer between the plant engineers for technical optimization. Develop Maintenance SOPs and train technicians and supervisors. Provides technical input on Capital/Expense projects and equipment specifications and manages small capital projects as needed ensuring they are completed safely, on-time, and on budget. Champion maintenance technologies and their application in the plant.
Keep and update the technical documentation and records for archives management. Represent their plant and actively participate in the Maintenance Network meetings sharing any learning events and leveraging in any actions from others learning events.
