Maintenance Mechanic Details: Temp-to-Hire position $18.00 to $21.00 /hour Full Time work available Weekend work required Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:30pm) Maintenance Mechanic observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment such as, but not limited to, motors, drives, wiring and associated devices. Locates and determines electrical malfunctions.
Participates in new installations and modifications to existing equipment. Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications: Maintenance Mechanic must be able to fabricate fixtures, stands, covers, and assemblies from provided drawings. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in industrial electro/mechanical maintenance. Must be able to work other shifts and overtime to complete work as needed. Employee must demonstrate completion of courses in Welding,
Basic Electronics or Electrical classes, PLC training. Technical or Bachelor School Have experience reading electrical drawings, understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
