Familiar with maintenance management software systems with light keyboarding skills to post time, materials, comments and feedback on work orders. To initiate or create reactive work orders for urgent type of work which arises on a shift. With assistance of Mechanic A's,
reads, interprets and follows complex blueprints, diagrams, and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete job.
May operate mobile equipment. During cleanouts and emergencies, will work with Maintenance A employees, performing any duties to get equipment back into operations in minimum time. Makes out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc. and performs other clerical duties necessary to maintain proper records relative to the work performed. Must maintain the necessary tools for above classification where required and be proficient in their use and care. Always use safe work practices, follow all safety rules and procedures, immediately report any hazardous conditions, and fully participate in safety programs.
Wear all personal protective equipment as required by management, including but not limited to all or some of the following; protective shoes, glasses, ear plugs, bump cap or hard hat, gloves, dust mask, or respirator.
