Job purpose Responsible for facility cleanliness and upkeep. Ensure property looks clean and are free of safety hazards. Maintain the overall condition of the building and grounds. Pay Rate $16.00 Schedule Part Time: Wednesday - Saturday Hours: 12:00PM – 5:00PM (hours are flexible) Duties and responsibilities Ensure parking lot, sidewalks, and exterior property is clean and free of debris.
Perform minor repair work around the buildings such as repairing locks and installing various items. Touch up painting as requested. Replace, or coordinate the replacement of building fixtures as needed. Replace light bulbs, batteries, or similar items as needed. Checks building at beginning and end
of shifts for cleanliness. Ensure shop is clean and organized. Clean interior and exterior of Semitrucks. Perform inspection of the premises and ensure that any hazardous conditions are immediately taken care.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Previous general laborer experience is preferred. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Strong initiative, follow-up, and sense of urgency. The ability to read written instructions, to include written instructions for cleaning chemicals. Physical requirements This is a physical, non-sedentary position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Performs physically active work requiring frequent
standing, reaching, walking, bending, shoveling, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting.
Works with cleaning chemicals that may produce strong and unpleasant odors. May work in various weather conditions with extremes in Michigan temperatures.
