A strong understanding of child development. Must clear full background check and must pass health screening. Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl. Requirements Educational Qualifications A Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and evidence of actively working towards a Child Development Credential (CDA) or have at least 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or a Degree in Early Childhood Education. Experience and Training At least one year of experience in an early childhood setting. First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to complete required courses Medication and Epi-pen certification or willingness to complete required training Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in situations and flexibility in accommodating individual needs/skills for each child.
